When IJCR published In Every Tongue and The UnCivil University in 2005, it was the Institute’s initial foray into marketing and sales to the trade book market. Beyond developing relationships with Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble, the Institute promoted the books itself through advertisements in several national publications—the New York Times, Moment Magazine, and Commentary Magazine. I designed these promotions.
